We welcome Mike Beare from Plant and Food research who will discuss his work on a Sustainable Farming Fund project that involved several industry partners (FAR, HortNZ), commercial testing labs (ARL, Hill Laboratories) and Regional Councils.
The aim of this project was to better match nitrogen supply (from soil and fertiliser) with crop demand to reduce the environmental and economic impacts of excess fertiliser use while sustaining high levels of production.
