Please join us for a presentation by Ben & Nicky Allomes on optimising people performance in their farming enterprise. Ben & Nicky recently won the 2018 MPI Good Employer Awards and they will share their insights and knowledge on the following:

  • An overview of the farm businesses
  • How they recruit and orientate new employees into the business
  • The roster systems they use and how they keep track of hours worked and meet staff expectations
  • Giving staff responsibilities early in their farming career
  • Discuss the concept of farm worker appreciation day

Also presenting is Meredith MacKenzie, a Human Resource Specialist from Everest Group NZ. Meredith will discuss and explain the challenging process of managing poor performance and misconduct of employees on farm.
