We understand the importance of getting our feed management, stock management, environmental management right, however, we often put the 'people management' into the too hard basket or label it as not as important as those other areas. To unlock people potential within the farming business, Michael and Susie Woodward will share their insights and strategy on how people management has built their business success.

Michael and Susie Woodward started their dairy career in the mid-2000s and have achieved their goal of farm ownership having bought their first farm in the Waikato where they will move to next season. People management has been at the front of Michael and Susie's priorities and is a key component of this success. As early adopters of the LEAN program introduced by the Synlait Farms management team at the time, they have adapted the approach to make it more practical and useful for everyone on farm and they will share the key learnings with us.

Sarah Watson from PeopleMAD will assist with event facilitation, and will share her own insights into successful people management for successful businesses, including the LEAN thinking in farming
