Central Districts branch is pleased to welcome Peter Allen (Business Torque Systems Ltd) and Chris Lewis (BakerAg) to facilitate a workshop on providing and enabling better on-farm decisions.

In this workshop, Peter and Chris will focus on the following:

  • Helping rural professionals to lead their clients in creating a 'safe zone?in which farmers and their families can discuss and robustly debate matters of any kind. The safe zone can apply to any group or team situation, including the advisor-client relationship.
  • The use of decision-making frameworks for big or important decisions that enable rural professionals to facilitate better decision-making and minimise the tendency to jump to solutions.

At the end of the workshop, you will have developed a wider understanding of how to create a safe zone for your clients and in holding them accountable to maintain their safe zone. You will also have enhanced your knowledge of using decision-making frameworks and in providing your clients with better outcomes.

Please join us after the workshop for networking and nibbles (cash bar available).
