7:00am Breakfast

7:30am Nick Tait, Developer at DairyNZ will cover :

  • A quick run through of how GHG's effect the climate
  • Which GHG's come from agriculture
  • An overview of the research that is underway and basic mitigations on farm
  • The zero carbon act and the implications of the recent climate meeting in Poland
  • Quick overview of the greenhouse gas emission and management course at Massey

8:15am Louis Schipper scientist at Waikato University will cover his current research around soil carbon and its effect on greenhouse gases.

9:00am Event concludes
