Please join us for afternoon tea followed by an overview and update on Canterbury Irrigation schemes and on farm applications.
3:00pm Networking and afternoon tea
3:25pm Canterbury Irrigation - Presentation by Andrew Curtis from INZ. Andrew will give an understanding of high level numbers around irrigation in Canterbury, ramifications to irrigation of certain policy suggestion both at a national and regional level (PC5, Tariff on fresh water). The Financial modelling and reporting requirements and past/present/future financing requirements (depreciation amortisation vs consent duration).
3:55pm Individual irrigation scheme updates - Presented by Mel Brooks - MVH & RDR, John Wright - BCI, Fiona Crombie - CPW, Alastair Rutherford - Amuri Irrigation. Together they will help us to understand the individual schemes with respect to: current projects, nutrient allocation and management, future consent renewal.
5:15pm On Farm application - understand improvements of on farm application methods, flow control, PA and other technology improvements.
