By the end of this course, you will have a clear understanding of the New Zealand Land Resource Inventory (NZLRI) and its field assessment through mapping and how to interpret that information into Land Use Capability (LUC) units. The course is hands on with a lot of field work and will give you knowledge and confidence in using the NZLRI and LUC assessments for a range of uses, including catchment and farm scale planning.
