In this webinar MPI's Chief Science Adviser John Roche will discuss Government's response to the Science Advisory Panel's review of Overseer and outline the process in reviewing future options being considered MPI.

John has been invited to discuss the following topics during this webinar:

Provide a brief background on Government's response to the Science Advisory Panel's review of Overseer.
Outline key areas of consideration from the Panel's review of Overseer, including overland flow of nutrients, capturing episodic climate data, assessing variation of water & nutrient distribution in soil profiles, among others.
Outline what guidance Government is offering regional councils in the ongoing use of Overseer over the next 12 months.
Describe what a revised and dynamic Overseer model might look like in future.
Discuss next steps in working through options arising from the Panel's review, including how rural professionals can be involved.
