Please join us for a Member Only field trip to learn more about and use the newly developed Stream Health Monitoring and Health Kit (SHMAK) from NIWA that measure real-time stream health at farm or sub-catchment scale. With funding from the Rural Professional Fund, a group has been working within the Nguturoa Catchment to assess water quality on individual farms using SHMAK over the last 6 months and then applying the results to develop farm environment plans to manage water quality outcomes.

Project Manager, Terry Parminter, will lead this field trip, taking members through the project, demonstrate how to use the kit in practice, and explore its application to farm environment planning. This event is limited to 20 people so please register early.
