Please join us for an after work branch event for an update on key water policy and what this means for farmers in the region, as well as a presentation on how to influence and drive change within the primary sector.

Our speakers will include:

  • Alex Morgan (Environment Southland) - Freshwater policy update, including an outline of what this means for regional planning rules and how will this affect farmers in Southland, please note this will be limited to what has been released
  • Ewen Mathieson (Thriving Southland) - Driving positive change on-farm and where the opportunities exist for rural professionals in producing better environmental outcomes
  • Corrigan Sowman (Golden Bay Dairy Farmer) - Corrigan will share insights gained during his Nuffield Scholarship on key factors in farmer decision making processes and how to drive change in the primary sector.

This event will better inform you on some very important issues likely to impact your farming clients, as well as providing an opportunity to reconnect and network with other rural professionals post lockdown!
