Please join us for a field visit at Tony & Fran Allcock's dairy farm to learn more about their composting covered feed pad system.
Built 3 years ago, the 280 cow capacity composting covered feed pad has a sawdust floor that is changed once a year. The Allcock's have also built a new weeping wall system for the dairy shed effluent. This is an opportunity for members to better understand and discuss the composting covered feed pad system.
We also welcome Davieth Verheij an Engineer with Ag First Engineering who will speak on "Weeping Wall Effluent Systems".
